Adopt A Highway #2!

We adopted North Greensboro St. in the heart of Carrboro, and every few months we are charged with the responsibility of picking up people's bottles, cans, plastic wrappers, cigarettes and other random refuse. Its actually a good bit of fun, and we highly recommend that you get involved with yr local Adopt A Highway program.

We started out near Weaver Street Market on a beautiful, sunny April morning:

About 20 minutes later, the heavens opened up and poured gallons and gallons of water on us, and that pretty much continued for the next couple hours. It was great! Here's how we looked afterwards:

Wet Zoo

Our dear friends Annuals and Sunfold just released a brand new split EP called "Wet Zoo," and I must say it's pretty amazing (as expected). They're both wonderful bands and people, and they consistently put out great songs. Also worth mentioning that Lost in the Trees/Auxiliary House's Neel-Gopal Sharma contributed viola tracks and our main man Ian Schreier (The Never, Lost in the Trees, Endless Mic producer) has production, engineering, and mixing credits on the disc. So yeah...it's a big 'ol friend party! Definitely head down to the record store and check it out.
