The Physics of Meaning Daytrotter Session

Our dear friends over at Daytrotter are the best website on the internet for great exclusive session recordings from the best bands around. Trekky's newest addition, The Physics of Meaning recently stopped by the Daytrotter Studio in Rock Island, IL for a session and we have the wonderful result for you right here. The session includes two songs from the upcoming Trekky/Bu Hanan release Snake Charmer and Destiny at the Stroke of Midnight, as well as
a song from Physics' self titled debut and an unreleased song called "Annabelle Lee" which is an Edgar Allen Poe poem set to music in honor of the Day of the Dead. All four songs are available for free download at Daytrotter.

The Never have also done a Daytrotter Session, one of the first that the site ever released, actually. You can scope that here.

Video: LIVE! from Trekky House: Butterflies

For this week's edition of LIVE! from Trekky House, we have Josh Kimbrough of Butterflies in the forest. These are the woods right next to Trekky House. Unfortunately a lot of the trees around Josh have been cut down because the neighbors were afraid they would fall on their house. You should plant a tree at your place to offset this forest destruction. Anyways, Josh plays a beautiful alternate version of his song "Forklift" while sitting on a stump and it is just gorgeous. We hope you dig:

Video: LIVE! from Trekky House: Wil Donegan

The hits keep rolling in with our LIVE! from Trekky House video series. This week we have Wil Donegan, troubadour. Wil sings his song "I'll Be Fine" through the door of the Blue Bird, our trusty tour bus. Wil frequently plays live and full band with the Apologies, but here we have an intimate solo performance. Mmmm!

Video: LIVE! from Trekky House: Vibrant Green

Time for the third installment of our LIVE! from Trekky House video series. Every Sunday the director of these videos, Jon Mackey, delivers a new episode to us and every time we are thrilled with the product. We hope you like them, too! This week's video is a haunting yet pleasantly jovial performance of "The Barn Dance" by Vibrant Green, live from the darkness of the attic of Trekky House. Vibrant Green is led by Stephen Tunnell and filled out by his two younger brothers, Jonny and Joah. This song is actually about Joah, which is great!
