Our resident folk orchestra,
Lost in the Trees, has become a true darling of
National Public Radio. After NPR music guru Bob Boilen awarded
All Alone In An Empty House a prestigious "
First Listen" honor, and featured the group on his
Tiny Desk Concert series, he invited the group to help
lobby for public radio on Capitol Hill. The band recently kept the NPR action going by playing on their Mountain Stage, a concert which was broadcast live, all over the USA. Here's an interesting interview with Lost in the Trees mastermind Ari Picker, including some clips of the band playing the Mountain Stage. Enjoy!
